CALL FOR ENTRIES: PITCH, an exhibition of films that do not exist (yet)!
Writers, illustrators, graphic designers, scriptwriters, professionals or amateurs, self-employed or students: participate in the exhibition PITCH in February 2018 at the Rotondes in the framework ot the 8th Luxembourg City Film Festival (22.02-4.03.2018). Application deadline is November 1st, 2017.
The exhibition will present a selection of films through basic pitches or scenario extracts, using their graphic universe, promotional material or any other element that makes it possible to understand, apprehend and imagine the movie without actually having seen it. And for good reason: the exhibited films do not exist (yet)!
The aim? Highlight the work of two professions that intervene very early in a film project: the screenwriter and his authorship on one hand, and the illustrator and his graphic art on the other hand.
Cinematographic genres: drama, science fiction, comedy, horror or even erotic - there are no restrictions! Only one condition: the project has to be original.
The scenography of the exhibition will transform the “Galerie des Rotondes” into a 1980s videoclub, opening possibilities to use and divert the many promotional peculiarities of this period.
CALL FOR ENTRIES:
The call for entries is open to all scriptwriters, writers, illustrators and graphic designers, professionals or amateurs, self-employed or students.
The applications must be presented by a scriptwriter-illustrator duo and must include:
- a pitch from the scriptwriter (+/- 300 words)
- a portfolio of the illustrator
- CVs and contact data of the scriptwriter and the illustrator.
The formats and production supports as well as the expenses will be defined during the final selection of the participants by the organizers.
