WHAT’S ON THIS SUNDAY 17/03

Our final screenings

Come say your goodbyes to MIKE LEIGH this afternoon by heading along to our final screening in his retrospective – his latest and most epic film to date, PETERLOO (15:30, Cinémathèque). He will introduce his period  drama about the infamous massacre of peaceful protesters in 19th century Manchester. A period film for modern times.

Otherwise go along to our final Luxembourgish premiere! The team from TREMORS (TEMBLORES) will be at Ciné Utopia at 16:30 to introduce their film about religious dogma and forbidden love in  contemporary Guatemala.

Keep the party going this evening with the INTERNATIONAL PREMIERE of THE BEACH BUM - our CLOSING NIGHT FILM . Harmony Korine's follow-up to SPRINGBREAKERS is a sun-baked romp starring Matthew McConaughey, Snoop Dogg, Isla Fisher, Zac Efron and Jonah Hill as a bunch of fun-loving, decadent eccentrics (19:00, Kinepolis)

Missed the winning films from our Official and Documentary Competitions? Come see them back-to-back tonight at Cinémathèque Luxembourg!
