A chance for the general public to discover Luxembourg’s animation sector.

For the third year running, the Federation of Animation Professions and Virtual Images (FMAIV – Fédération des métiers de l’animation et de l’image virtuelle) is hosting a casual brunch get together during Luxembourg City Film Festival. Guests will have the chance to explore Luxembourg’s animation sector in small informative workshops, covering a selection of different professions at the heart of Luxembourg’s globally renowned studios. Members of the Federation and representatives from local studios will be there and ready to answer all your questions about the sector, its key players and where it’s heading next, over a coffee.

The Federation of Animation Professions and Virtual Images (FMAIV)

The Federation was founded in 2015 to defend and promote the animation and virtual images sector in Luxembourg and abroad. Through meetings, talks and training courses, the federation equips its members with new skills, and supports the sector to be as efficient and organised as possible. The federation aims to develop a sector that promotes high quality work and whose professionals, artists and technicians are listened to and encouraged. As a growing field of economic and cultural activity, the federation believes it is important to develop the talents and opportunities that contribute to Luxembourg’s international renown for excellent animated productions.
