Cristiano is living with Anna and he's in love with her, but he is afraid of losing her because he can’t give her a child. Cristiano suggests to Anna to foster a "Chernobyl Child." That’s how Viktor arrives in their home for 90 days. Cristiano quickly finds a connection with the little boy and so does Anna. But traumas from the past resurface haunting the couple. Pressures from the family environment become more and more unbearable and Cristiano’s frustration bursts out in a rage as he desperately tries to be a good father.

Franco Dipietro is an Italian director and a producer, born in 1978. He was selected for the European Short Pitch in 2008, for the Script&Pitch Torino Film Lab 2010 and for the Berlinale Talents 2013. His short “The Change” has been screened at “Semaine de la Critique” in 2010. His short “Ruggero” won Capalbio Film Festival in 2013 and has been bought by Canal+ for international broadcasting. “Chernobyl”, his recent feature film project, is among the 12 finalist selected by “Premio Solinas”, the most important Italian scriptwriting price.
