A forcibly recruited Luxembourgish WWII soldier relives the memories of his past.

Félix celebrates his 92nd birthday with his family, as his past catches up with him.  “The Past We Live In” is the story of a former forcibly recruited Luxembourgish WWII soldier, who now suffers from dementia and relives an emotional friendship by mistaking his 7-year old nephew for an old friend from the war.

Biography

Jérôme Weber was born in 1987 in Luxembourg. In 2011 he received his IELTS certificate in Cape Town, South Africa and went on studying Parasitology in Manchester, UK. During these 5 years he made a few short films such as "One of these days" (2013) and “Mirror” (2014). After graduating he wrote and directed "The Past We Live In", while having new projects in the pipeline.
