LuxFilmFest 2021 - Programme & Tickets
Discover the complete programme of an extraordinary hybrid edition.
The 11th LuxFilmFest will take place in a HYBRID setting, combining in-person cinema screenings with a vast array of online content. International guests and jurys will join the Festival digitally via online Q&As, exclusive interviews and masterclasses. Among the highlights: some of the most eagerly awaited films of the Awards season, gender parity in the Official and Documentary Competitions, and a tribute and retrospectives dedicated to directors William Friedkin (The Exorcist, The French Connection) and Terry Gilliam (Brazil, 12 Monkeys...).
"Luxembourg is one of the few countries in Europe where cinemas are open, where it is still possible to see films on the silver screen" emphasised Mrs. Sam Tanson, Minister for Culture, at LuxFilmFest's press conference. "This 11th edition is taking place in a context of uncertainty which we are happy to provide answers to [...] the sanitary protocols will be followed to the letter" explained the Festival president Georges Santer.
