Régis Latouche

Régis Latouche is a lecturer and accredited research director at the University of Lorraine and a director of documentary films.

Born in 1968 in Verdun, he began studying economics before changing tack towards writing and then production, going on to a career that has combined audiovisual theory and practice. Director of the Institut du Cinéma et de l'Audiovisuel (University of Lorraine) until 2013, member of CREM (a communication research laboratory), president of Théâtre Universitaire de Nancy since 2000 and co-founder of the Ere production company in 1996, he has also made about twenty documentary films for television and written several books on history and its representations.
