On Wednesday 8 May at 8pm at Cin\u00e9 Utopia, Richard Linklater’s latest film will be screened: Hit Man<\/strong>. The American director, who was nominated for an Oscar for Boyhood<\/em>, returns with a zany comedy starring Glen Powell (Top Gun: Maverick<\/em>, Everybody Wants Some!!!<\/em>) and Adria Arjona (Cuban Network<\/em>, Narcos<\/em>, True Detective<\/em>, Andor.<\/em>..).<\/p>\n

Synopsis<\/strong>: Gary, a philosophy professor, helps the police in his spare time by posing as a hitman. He meets a woman who has been beaten by her boyfriend. To rescue her, he has to forget all procedures and protocols.<\/em><\/p>\n

Based on the true story of a fake hitman working for the police, the script was co-written by the director and lead actor Glen Powell.<\/p>\n
