It covers topics ranging from intersectional gender research and feminist theory; women in art and music; STEM and politics; the female body, health, and sexuality; novels and empowering children and youth literature.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, a core mission of CID\u2019s work is to <strong>develop educational, cultural, and socio-political<\/strong> projects for <strong>gender<\/strong> and <strong>feminism-related topics<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>For this year\u2019s collaboration with the Luxembourg City Film Festival, we have chosen<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.luxfilmfest.lu\/de\/filme\/invisible-nation\/\">\u2018Invisible Nation\u2019,<\/a><\/strong> which \u2018tells a<strong> powerfully feminist<\/strong> and <strong>female driven story<\/strong> of why <strong>democracy<\/strong>,<strong> free speech<\/strong>, <strong>human rights<\/strong>, <strong>truth<\/strong> and <strong>reconciliation matter<\/strong> against the backdrop of our increasingly authoritarian and militaristic world.\u2019 This film enables us to explore the <strong>importance<\/strong> of meaningful participation of <strong>female peacekeepers<\/strong> in both <strong>conflict prevention<\/strong> and<strong> conflict resolution<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"btn\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.luxfilmfest.lu\/de\/filme\/invisible-nation\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Discover more about the movie<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CID | Fraen an Gender is a feminist library in the heart of Luxembourg with over 32.000 books, CDs, magazines and scores.
