EFA Young Audience Award 2021

Call for young jurors for the 2021 online edition of the EFA Young Audience Award!

From 21st to 25th April 2021, for the sixth year in a row, on the initiative of the Luxembourg City Film Festival, Luxembourg will take part in the YOUNG AUDIENCE AWARD initiative organised by the European Film Academy to choose the best European youth film of the year. This year, the Young Audience Award will take place entirely online in a virtual format and bring together 38 different countries.

From 21st to 24th April at midnight, 12-to-14-years-old film fans are going to watch the three nominated films on the European Film Academy's online platform, and, as members of the jury, will choose a winner among three nominees: PINOCCHIO by Matteo Garrone, THE CROSSING (FLUKTEN OVER GRENSEN) by Johanne Helgeland, and WOLFWALKERS by Tomm Moore and Ross Stewart.
All three films are available in their original versions with selectable English, French and German subtitles. On Sunday, 25th April, following a video deliberation with a film expert and members of the LuxFilmFest team, the Luxembourg jurors will select their favourite film and transmit their result to the European Film Academy in Erfurt, Germany.

Registrations for the Luxembourg jury are open to 12-to-14-year-olds via register@luxfilmfest.lu. The registration deadline ends on Friday, 9th April at 5 PM.
