LUXFILMLAB - THEO AND THE METAMORPHOSIS

Join us at Ciné Utopia Wednesday, February 9th at 7:30 PM for this month's LuxFilmLab at Ciné Utopia in the presence of the director, for a screening of Damien Odoul's latest feature: THEO AND THE METAMORPHOSIS.

In a remote house in the forest, Théo, a young man with Down’s syndrome, lives in seclusion with his father who is a photographer. The two get along in their daily lives without talking much. Théo loves nature and draws a lot. Every day he spends his energy training his body, his balance, his reflexes and his inner strength because he wants to become a samurai. When his father goes away for a few days for an exhibition, Théo decides to start a new life.

Tickets for the LuxFilmLab screening are available as of now via the Kinepolis webshop at the regular rates of Ciné Utopia*.

Access to the screening will be subject to CovidCheck rules and regulations**.

About LuxFilmLab:
The first Wednesday of every month, LuxFilmLab - a joint initiative by Luxembourg City Film Festival and Kinepolis - highlights one feature film, chosen in cooperation by LuxFilmFest's Artistic Committee and the Kinepolis programme team. A member of the Artistic Committee introduces the special LuxFilmLab screenings, with the aim of supporting films whose release dates didn't allow for them to be selected for the Festival itself but whose artistic qualities would very likely have led to their inclusion in the LuxFilmFest line-up.

*LuxFilmFest isn't involved in the commercial aspects of these screenings. Access to the screenings and ticket prices are set by Kinepolis.

**Since November 1st, the age to present a CovidCheck certificate has increased to 12 years and 2 months old, so it won't be necessary to show it below this age.

  • A vaccination certificate against COVID-19 (complete vaccination schedule)
  • A valid negative COVID-19 test certificate:
    • Certified PCR test
    • Certified antigen test
    • Certificate of recovery
