Young Audience Film Day 2019

On 5th May 2019, for the fourth consecutive year, Luxembourg City Film Festival will take part in the YOUNG AUDIENCE FILM DAY organised by the “European Film Academy”. In 2019, the 8th Young Audience Award of the European Film Academy will bring together a record 56 cities in 35 different countries, including Luxembourg. The Grand-Duchy is once again joining in this truly European event, on the initiative of the Luxembourg City Film Festival, in collaboration with the Cinémathèque de la Ville de Luxembourg.
Throughout Europe, 12-to-14-years-old film fans are going to watch the competing films and, as members of the jury and after intense deliberations, will choose a winner among the three contestants: FIGHT GIRL by Johan Timmers, LOS BANDO by Christian Lo, and OLD BOYS by Toby MacDonald. All three films are shown in their original version with French and German subtitles.

Registrations for the Luxembourgish jury for 12-to-14-year-olds are open as of now!
