10th European Short Pitch
European Short Pitch is an initiative organised by NISI MASA in partnership with LARS which promotes European coproductions for short films. ESP combines a scriptwriting workshop monitored by scriptdoctors in January and, 2 months later, a coproduction forum as part of Luxembourg City Film Festival for the 4th year in a row. That's when the writers/directors will pitch their film so as to find their producer and/or coproducer(s). This public event brings together over 90 European professionals, thus giving as much visibility as possible for the projects. Three awards will be given by the Film Fund Luxembourg.
This year, a selection of 4 works-in-progress will also be presented in partnership with Paris Courts Devant (C3PM) and Espera Production which will give 2 awards.
There are other events such as round-table discussions, screenings and networking dinners to encourage meetings among the professionals and writers/directors.
ESP is supported by MEDIA, the Film Fund Luxembourg and the Lithuanian Film Centre. Founded in 2001, NISI MASA is a European network of associations, currently present in 28 countries with a common cause: European cinema.
