ENIGMA de Pierre Coulibeuf

ENIGMA is a transmedia work by French avant-garde artist and filmmaker Pierre Coulibeuf. It consists of a fiction film (27 min) shot in 35 mm, and a video-photo installation (which will be exhibited in neimënster in the fall of 2022).

The film ENIGMA, presented at the festival, shows the mental journey, alternately dream and nightmare, of two young women attracted by a ''song of the Sirens'' which inhabits the different spaces they cross... Their actions resonate with the story of the Abbey of Neimünster in which they are projected, - a story marked by confinement… Each place crossed by the two characters gives rise to a performance that interprets the unstable, multiple universes which surround them… The image of a diva suddenly appears; his seductive song creates a chaotic universe...

With actress-performers Vânia Rovisco, Andresa Soares, and opera singer Véronique Nosbaum.
