American author Douglas Kennedy will be talking about his love for the 7th art and the complex relationship between writing and cinema at a unique gathering on 7 March at the Luxembourg City Film Festival. This will be the first time the author has the opportunity to meet and greet his Luxembourgish readers and audience. Douglas Kennedy’s books have been translated into 22 languages. The author divides his time between Maine, Montreal, London, Paris and Berlin and is one of Europe’s favourite writers.

Douglas Kennedy will also be presenting "Double Indemnity", a classic film noir directed in 1944 by Billy Wilder, for a screening at the Cinémathèque de la Ville de Luxembourg
