Pierre Földes is going to present the different stages of his creative approach to adapting Haruki Murakami’s collection of short stories, Blind Willow, Sleeping Woman. In an interactive way that allows for questions from the audience, the screenwriter/director will talk about his own artistic career, the project’s development, the screenwriting progress and the challenges in adapting such a work. From his first meeting with the Luxembourgish producers to the production of the film’s first teasers and the research for an original animation style, participants will learn about the entire production process thanks to documents, sketches and concept art from the development stages of the film.
