VR Pavilion 2022
The Virtual Reality Pavilion opens its doors once again at neimënster in 2022, one of Luxembourg-City’s most emblematic and historic locations, to immerse visitors in the world of virtual reality. As in previous years, a selection of groundbreaking, inventive and artistically ambitious VR experiences will await festivalgoers in neimënster’s vaulted caves. A unique opportunity to discover audacious, award-winning VR works selected at the world’s most prestigious festivals, including the Venice Biennale and Tribeca Film Festival.
The 4th edition of the Pavilion’s “VR Day” will take place on 3 March. This industry and networking event will bring together national and international VR experts for presentations and round tables focusing on the state of the XR industry two years into the global pandemic. A dedicated VR cinema space, located in neimënster’s reception area, will screen a selection of award-winning 360° films. Solve mysteries in a long-gone Madrid, travel to distant places or board a spaceship – all in the comfort of one the VR cinema’s revolving chairs!
After the festival, the films screened at the VR Cinema will also be available “To Go”, via a dedicated VR headset rental solution.
