Since 2015, this small traveling cinema created by Les Courtisans moves around bringing spectators its special treasures from cities to countryside villages, in France and abroad. Each time it arrives at destination, it puts up its wooden walls that welcome five spectators at a time to view short films from all over the world. In relation with artists Fabien Giraud and Raphaël Siboni’s exhibition, Les Courtisans selects short films on the themes of science fiction, artificial intelligence and the history of technology. The Court-Toit is hosted by the Courtisans’ team.
Created in 2015 in Metz, the association Les Courtisans develops cultural and educational projects around film and cinema, and more specifically short films. Through various projects and engagements, it is committed to defending the short film format and the availability of visual art education programs, and participating in the animation of the territory.
