How many stories can an image tell?
As part of the Luxembourg City Film Festival and in parallel with the exhibition of the artists Fabien Giraud and Raphaël Siboni at the Casino Luxembourg, Les Courtisans propose a workshop around found footage. Found footage is a practice that consists in editing together pre-existing videos to create a new story, a new meaning. After discovering the principles of editing and an introduction to specialized software, participants will be able to create their own science fiction video montage from pre-selected images.
Created in 2015 in Metz, the association Les Courtisans develops cultural and educational projects around cinema, and more particularly short films. Through numerous actions, it is committed to defending the short format, proposing image education devices and participating in the animation of the territory.
