In the dignitaries’ offices, tension and violent repression grow as the revolt intensifies. 1970 is the story of a rebellion told from the point of view of the oppressors. Using stop-motion animation and archive footage to bring telephone recordings to life, Tomasz Wolski composes a highly precise and prodigious film.

Tomasz Wolski was born in 1977 Gdynia, Poland. He studied Journalism at the Jagiellonian University and the Andrzej Wajda Master School of Film Directing. He is the director, editor and cameraman of 13 documentaries awarded at many international festivals.
