No flight experiments are too crazy for two hummingbirds with wings too tiny to take to the air.
Due to their ridiculously small wings, two hummingbird siblings, Lemon and Elderflower, are not able to fly like other birds and migrate with them, but that doesn't stop them from trying to invent new ways to soar. They come up with creative and ludicrous inventions to combat this injustice and help them take off from the ground.

Ilenia Cotardo is a young filmmaker from Italy. She studied illustration and animation at IED Milan and chose to specialise in stop motion for her graduation film Déjà Vu (2014). After working as a freelance illustrator for a short time in Italy, she produced the stop motion short film Lemon & Elderflower (2018) during her MA animation course at the University of South Wales, Cardiff.
