A small round story about a girl who learns to cycle from her grandfather and discovers that where the road ends real adventure begins.

Sytske Kok is a screenwriter, director and teacher. In 1996, she graduated from the Dutch Film Academy in Amsterdam in screenwriting, directing and editing. From 1998 to 1999 she completed her training at the Writers and Directors Lab Binger in Amsterdam. She has since written and directed five short features in various genres, including The Chinese Wall (2002) which won several international awards. In 2010 she wrote the script for the television film Tunnel Vision that has premiered at the 2010 Utrecht Film Festival. Besides writing original screenplays, she has also adapted books into scripts. She currently works as a script consultant, writer and director and teaches scriptwriting at the Schrijversvakschool in Amsterdam, the St. Joost Art Academy in Breda, at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rottderdam and the Amsterdam Film School.
Sophie Olga de Jong is a freelance animator and illustrator, currently working and living in Amsterdam. She graduated from the St. Joost Art Academy (AKV) in Breda in 2010 with a specialisation in hand-drawn animation. Her interest for animation developed while attending the AKV which led her to producing her first hand-drawn film For the Time Being (2010). Her work includes both independent projects as well as commissioned animation for the Dutch Sesame Street and other clients. Together with Sytske Kok she’s currently developing the animated film Hondenleven.
