Elsa who is afraid of the dark and has never been able to sleep at night, meets the Night in person.
Elsa is afraid of sleeping, she actually has not slept a wink in thirty years. Early one morning when she’s sitting at the kitchen table, she finds an unwelcome guest underneath her sofa. The creature turns out to be none other than the Night herself. Elsa tells the Night of her life, and of her best friend, an elephant named Olaf, as the Night accompanies her on a moving journey.
The school screenings on 04/03 at 9:30, on 08/03 at 10:00, on 10/03 at 11:00 and on 11/03 at 10:00 unfortunately had to be cancelled.

Swedish director, illustrator and writer Jöns Mellgren has held a Master’s degree in Animation from the Royal College of Art in London since 2009. He has directed several short films and commercials, and has published five illustrated books for young people. He is currently working on a sixth book. Elsa and the Night (2019) is his sixth film.
