United Kingdom, 2018 / 5 min / without words / animation

Part of the short film collection Un petit air de famille

One day, children find their parents acting strange and discover the meaning of parenthood.

The children are left in charge when they find their parents acting strange. Suddenly their roles are switched with the kids having to deal with big size differences and the unpredictable nature of the childish adults: Their dad absolutely wants to go down a slide while their mum sleeps in the pram. The kids have a busy day ahead of them looking after the grown-ups.

“The movie tackles maturity and parenting in a comic way. Whether it is seen from a parent’s perspective or from the child’s, the audience is left with thoughts about the nature of this relationship and how the roles inevitably change throughout the course of our lives.” Anibar International Animation Festival
