Biography
Makiko Nanke is a Japanese graphic designer and animator who studied at the Musashino Art University in Tokyo from 1996 to 2000. From 2001 to 2016, she worked for Polygon Pictures, a Japanese animation studio before starting freelance work in 2016. Good Night (2018) is her first short animated film as a director.
