An epicurean frog is looking for new dishes.
An inquisitive little frog with a large appetite goes for a walk on the river bank in search of new culinary specialties. On her way, she meets some of the animals that live in the neighbourhood – a mole, a rabbit, a deer, a mouse – and asks them what they feed on. But she also wonders what herons, foxes and snakes eat…

Célia Tocco was born in Evian in 1996. She studied animation at the St. Geneviève Institute in Paris, before completing her studies at the ESAAT in Roubaix. A year alternating between studying and working with Films du Nord gave her the opportunity to work with Nicolas Liguori on The Wind in the Reeds (2016), selected at LuxFilmFest 2018. This first experience gave her the opportunity to co-direct her first short film with Célia Tisserant, The Golden Tortoise (2018). Célia Tocco was particularly involved in the creation of the film’s graphic universe, as well as the character and set design, while also contributing to its direction and animation. The Little Wide-Mouthed Frog (2019) is her second film.
