The lives of four lively arctic hares take a turn after discovering a strange new creature.
Far and wide, there is nothing but snow, ice and pleasant silence. That is, until a helicopter full of noisy tourists lands. A quick round of selfies and then they’re off again, leaving behind a heap of trash and a tiny dog which is immediately adopted by four Arctic hares. The Berlin-based collective Talking Animals returns to Generation with a humorous yet biting cinematic commentary on animal empathy and human ignorance.

Milen Vitanov was born in 1978 in Prague. After growing up in Sofia, he graduated in Animation from the University of Film and Television “Konrad Wolf” in Potsdam-Babelsberg in 2007. His graduation short My Happy End screened in many international festivals and received numerous prestigious awards. Together with a group of fellow HFF graduates and friends, he co-founded the Talking Animals Animation Studio in Berlin.
