Nothing More Perfect

Maya, 16-year-old, tries to find online-fame and understanding through a selfie-live-vlog of suicide notes.
She streams constantly to a forum of like-minded users. When Maya travels to Prague with her parents - a trip, that is supposed to somehow cheer her up - her suicidal fantasies become more real than. While her parents try to force their daughter into the fun and games of being a teenager, Maya finds her very own fairy-tale-like journey in the capital of party tourism and melancholy.

Teresa Fritzi Hoerl grew up in the Bavarian Allgäu. She first studied theatre, literature and psychology in Munich and London, then directing at the University of Television and Film in Munich. During her studies, she wrote and directed several short and medium-length films, which were shown at various festivals and won awards. Since 2014 Teresa Fritzi Hoerl works as a freelance director.
Nothing More Perfect is her first feature film.
