PIGEON THERAPY (DE PIGEON)
Luxembourg, 2021 / 20 min / Luxemburgish OV with French or English subt. / Short
When a pigeon crashes into her therapist’s window, Emma’s first therapy session takes an unexpected turn.
After her father passes away, Emma visits a therapist for the very first time. When, during the session a pigeon flies straight into the window, Emma involuntarily finds herself on a rescue mission for the wounded animal, that leads her through a series of encounters. In spite of her kindness (or perhaps because of it), she is made personally responsible of the pigeon’s well-being by each of the highly-strung characters who cross her path that day. When the bird’s life suddenly appears to be at risk, Emma’s discreet and hesitant personality is seriously put to the test.
