André, an old disillusioned portraitist is about to jump off a bridge when he is called on his mobile phone. He learns that his eight-year-old granddaughter that he never knew is about to die.

Cyrus Neshvad is a Luxembourgish director of Iranian descent. He graduated in Directing from the École Supérieure de Réalisation Audio-Visuelle in Paris and holds a Master's degree in Cinema from the University Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne. His last three short films L'Orchidée (2012), Antoine (2014) and Fils (2016), financed with private means and produced by CYNEFILMS, had remarkable runs at festivals. Fils ran in the official selections of 157 festivals, including some Oscars-qualifying ones. The film won 42 awards including the Lëtzebuerger Filmpräis for best short in 2018.
