A sister searches for a ray of sunshine to brighten up her brother’s day.
Autumn has chased away the good weather and ushered in the rain. Little Yanka is ill and huddled deep within his bed but his big sister, Alenka, has other ideas. She sets off in search of a ray of sunshine to brighten up his day, helped by birds and other animal friends. Together, they sing songs about spring to wake the sun.

Tatiana Kublitskaya is a Belarusian animator and screenwriter born in 1956. She graduated from the Belarusian State Academy of Arts specialising in graphic design and illustration. She worked at Belarusfilm where she was at the helm of several independent animated films. She has helped produce more than ten films including Lullaby (2009), Centipede (2012) and Pilipka (2012) which won the Golden Slipper for Best Short Animated Film for Children at Zlín Film Festival.
