Telle Mère, telle fille
France, 2017 / 94 min / French OV / Comedy
A female twist on the "Buddy Movie" genre.
While inseparable, Avril and her mother Mado could not be more different. Thirty-year-old Avril is married, employed and organised, unlike her mother, who leads the carefree and frivolous life of a teenager, sponging off her daughter since her divorce. When the two women find out they’re pregnant at the same time and under the same roof, a clash is inevitable. Because if Mado, in full-blown midlife crisis, is not ready to be a grandmother, Avril for her part struggles to see her mother… as a mother!
