A young postman goes into the forest to deliver a letter to an old Chechen living in a hut
A young postman, new on the job, has a letter in his bag addressed to a man living in a lone hut somewhere deep in the forests of the Ardennes. The young man is desperate to get the letter delivered and will not give up until it arrives at its destination. He leaves his car behind, continues on foot – and slowly gets lost in a voyage that is half real, half dream and may only exist in the imagination of the recipient: a long-bearded, weary Chechen, who has been waiting patiently for a letter of the ministry of immigration to arrive for years.
