FRANÇOIS LARGE
François Large is managing the humanitarian aid projects of Caritas Luxembourg worldwide. He focused on the Middle-East since 2006 and on Syria since the beginning of the war in 2011. Caritas implements emergency life-saving projects across Syria through local teams and started to support reconstruction of war-damaged houses in Homs. Caritas is funded by the European Commission, the Luxembourg Foreign Ministry and by United Nations Organisations such as IOM and UN-OCHA which coordinate the relief efforts for the people in need.
