Isa Qosja (Director)

Isa Qosja was born in Vutjah, Montenegro, in 1947. He graduated from the High School of Dramatic Arts and Acting in Prishtina and holds a degree in theatre and film directing from the Film Academy in Belgrade.

Qosja began his career as a theater, short and documentary film director in the 1980's.

His 2005 feature Kukumi was received a Special Jury Award at the 11th Sarajevo Film Festival, as well as the Best Film and Best Director awards at the 2006 Albanian Film Festival in Tirana.notably awarded in Sarajevo and Tirana.
