Juan Antin

Juan Antin, born in 1969, is a director, screenwriter, producer and head of the Animation  Department of the Universidad del Cine in his native town of Buenos Aires. He studied animation at the Instituto de Arte Cinematográfico in Avellaneda, and later in Montréal. He had a jury seat at several film festivals, most notably at the 1998 Annecy International Animated Film Festival. As founder of the Ayllu Animations studio, he produced over 70 animated projects. His first feature film “Mercano the Martian” (2002) received the Special Jury Award in Annecy. “Pachamama”, currently in production, will be his second feature.
