The Canadian actress Mylène MacKay was born in 1987 in Quebec and graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada in 2011. After appearances in plays and several Canadian web and TV series, minor film roles and various shorts, she had her breakthrough performance in André Turpin’s “Endorphine” (2015) which earned her a nomination as Best Supporting Actress at the 4th Canadian Screen Awards. She played the titular character in “Nelly” (2016) and was chosen as one of Toronto International Film Festival’s Rising Stars of 2016.
