Born in 1974 and of Belgian nationality, Nicolas Léonard is the editor-in-chief of paperjam.lu. After studying Archaeology & Art History, then Communication, a stint in academia as a research assistant in medieval archaeology at the University of Louvain, he spent the first part of his career with Sudpresse (Rossel Group). As a journalist, Nicolas was then in charge of managing the editorial staff of the Province du Luxembourg desk as Head of Publishing, then of the general supervision of the four publications of the Liège province, before being entrusted with the operational development of the final editorial staff of the 14 regional editions and the general editorial desk of Sudpresse from its head office in Namur. During these years, as a member of the editorial staff and of the editorial board, he was entrusted with several missions involving recruitment, process analysis and the development of synergies within the group's Belgian and French editorial offices. He joined Maison Moderne and the editorial office of Paperjam in October 2018 as a journalist, then deputy editor-in-chief before being appointed editor-in-chief of paperjam.lu.
