Sameh Zoabi
Sameh Zoabi was born in 1975 in Iksal, a Palestinian village near Nazareth. In 1998, he graduated from Tel Aviv University in Film Studies and English Literature. In 2000 he won a Fulbright scholarship to pursue a Master of Fine Arts in Film Direction at Columbia University in New York, which he obtained in 2005. He has since received prestigious residencies at the Cannes Festival Cinéfondation and the Sundance Screenwriters Lab. Currently, he lives in Brooklyn and works as an adjunct professor at the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
