
When she was 12, English-born Ana Lily Amirpour, directed her first short film. She then moved to Los Angeles and directed her first film, A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night (presented at the Luxembourg City Film Festival in 2015) which won the Revelation Award at the Deauville Film Festival. In 2016 she won the Special Jury Prize in Venice with The Bad Batch.
Her latest film, Mona Lisa and the Blood Moon, selected in Venice and Gérardmer, is presented at the Festival this year.
