Astrid Bergès-Frisbey’s first cinema role was in The Sea Wall (Rithy Panh) and in 2011 she played Patricia in The Well-Digger’s Daughter (Daniel Auteuil) and co-starred with Johnny Depp and Pénélope Cruz in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. Starring both in art house films and major productions, she played the role of Juliette (Pierre Godeau) in 2013, joined Michael Pitt in I Origins (Mike Cahill), appeared in Alaska (Claudio Cupellini) and won acclaim in Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. In 2020 she was the lead in L’Autre (Charlotte Dauphin) alongside Anouk Grindberg and James Thierrée and will star in Jaume Balagueró’s Way Down in November.
