Christina Schaffer is a production designer based in Luxembourg. Born in Trier in 1965, she studied in Trier, London, and in the USA, before graduating with The Tower, a POV film of our high-tech future embodied in a 1940s bunker. The Tower won the German Fachhochschulpreis in 1997 and was shown at architecture exhibitions, becoming her way into to the film industry where she learnt from acclaimed international film professionals. She has been working as production designer since 2002 on over 30 feature films. In 2003, she was awarded the Lëtzebuerger Filmpräis and has won many international awards since.
