Italy-based Iraqi journalist, director and festival veteran Erfan Rashid’s career includes spells as Arabic Programs Director at Dubai International Film Festival and as Artistic Director of Mare di Cinema Arabo in Sicily. He is the co-author of the book Il Cinema dei Paesi arabi (The Cinema of Arab Countries), published by Italian editor Marsilio. For more than twenty years, he worked as Italian correspondent of the pan-Arab Al Hayat newspaper, and is currently editor-in-chief of the Arab-Italian online news outlet Huna Roma.
