Director Faouzi Bensaïdi started his career as theatre director before director his first short “La Falaise” in 1998. In 2000, he directs two shorts, “Le Mur” et “Trajets”, who are awarded prizes at the Cannes and Venice film festivals respectively. His first feature, “Mille Mois”, receives two awards in Cannes, while his second one “WWW: What a Wonderful World” is selected for the 2006 Venice Days. “Mort à vendre”, his third feature, receives two awards at the 62nd Berlinale. As an actor, he worked with Jacques Audiard, André Techiné and Nabil Ayouch.
