
Luke W. Moody works as Director of Film Programming at the Sheffield Doc/Fest. Born and bred in the Sheffield region, Luke joined the Doc/Fest team in 2016 from Doc Society (BRITDOC Foundation) where he commissioned international award-winning feature documentaries across the Channel 4, Puma, Bertha BRITDOC and Pulse BRITDOC film funds for six years. He also managed UK impact distribution campaigns for Laura Poitras’ Academy Award-winning Citizenfour (2014) and Richard Rowley’s Academy Award-nominated Dirty Wars (2013), including commissioning new artworks from Deutsche Börsche prize-winning Trevor Paglen and recent Serpentine digital commission artist James Bridle. He co-founded and curated the digital platform Something Real and documentary festival FRAMES of REPRESENTATION at ICA, London.
