Born in Buenos Aires, Santiago Amigorena starts working as a scriptwriter on several episodes of the TV series “Maigret”. In 1994 he writes “Peril Jeune” for Cedric Klapisch with whom he collaborates on another three films, the most recent one “Ce qui nous lie” being due for release in June  2017. The some 40 screenplays he wrote also include his adaptation for the science fiction film “Upside Down” (2013). His first film as a director, “A Few Days in September” (2006) starring Juliette Binoche, Nick Nolte and John Turturro was shown in the Official Selection both of the Venice and the Toronto Film Festivals.
