Yaara Ozery is a film scholar and programmer. She is the Programme Manager and a senior programmer at Docaviv, the Tel Aviv International Documentary Film Festival which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. She holds an M.A. from the Steve Tisch School of Film and Television at Tel Aviv University. She teaches various courses in film theory, documentary cinema and women’s cinema. Her essays were published on various platforms in English and Hebrew. Yaara is the initiator of Mirrors, the First Women’s Film and Television Conference at Tel Aviv University.
