With Deep in the Bowl, Luxembourg-based animation studio ZEILT Productions (2014 Oscar for the Best Animated Short Film for Mr Hublot) are currently adapting the eponymous comic by Nicolas Poupon for the big screen. In this workshop for a school class, members of the production team will tackle the issues of transposing works from one medium to another. Together, they’ll simulate adapting a scene from a comic of the students’ choice for a film.
Members of ZEILT Productions’ team will meet the students of the classes that sign up for the workshop in their schools ahead of the Festival, ideally in February, to explain the project and prepare the ground for the workshop.
