Two Mexican cleaning ladies clean a Manhattan office building. New to this country, city, and job, Alejandra is lead around by Paola. Paola's disdain for the office workers, and their complete disregard for her, becomes immediately apparent to Alejandra. Paola's mood shifts when she runs into Mr. Samuelson. The two seem to have developed a genuine friendship throughout the years. As they finish their shift, however, the women discover the dead body of Mr. Samuelson by his desk.

Biography

Jesse Allen is a writer/director from New York City (via New Hampshire). His script “My Thirty Year War” (co-written with Andrew Gori) was a finalist at the IFP Film Market and optioned by NPR’s This American Life. His Script “Granite State” was semi-finalist at the Austin Film Festival and the Nicholl Fellowship. Among others, he has screened his work at the Seattle International, Chicago International, and Provincetown International Film Festivals. “Clean-Up” was produced by Jim Probyn from Luxembourg.
