At the heart of today’s program is a single insight: those we try to silence always end up speaking out<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

At 1:30 pm (Cin\u00e9 Utopia), Sophie Hyde<\/strong>‘s Jimpa<\/strong> <\/em><\/a>will gently and precisely introduce the theme with an autobiographical film about a queer family spanning three generations. At 4 pm (Cin\u00e9 Utopia), Cutting Through Rocks<\/em><\/a><\/strong>\u00a0by Sara Khaki and Mohammadreza Eyni <\/em>recounts women’s struggle for resistance in the heart of the Iranian countryside. The screening will be followed by a discussion with experts, in partnership with Cin\u00e9ONU.<\/p>\n

At 6:30 pm (Cin\u00e9 Utopia), Mailin<\/strong><\/a><\/em>\u00a0<\/em>returns, again in the presence of director Mar\u00eda Silvia Esteve<\/strong><\/a>: eight years of filming to accompany an Argentine woman seeking to recover her memory of fifteen years of abuse committed by a priest.<\/p>\n

And to finish on a high note, head to Kinepolis Kirchberg at 6 pm for the premiere of The Wolf, the Fox and the Leopard<\/strong><\/a><\/em>: a philosophical fable by David Verbeek about a young girl raised by wolves, discovered by a couple who try to \u201ccivilize\u201d her on an abandoned oil rig.
